Did you know Facebook saves all the searches you perform in your account? They save them and make it easily accessible for you to view your search activity, if you desire to do so. Before you panic don’y worry, this search activity is ONLY visible to you. But if someone hacked their way into your account they could easily see the searches you performed and that never ends well.
If you were unaware Facebook saves your searches, you are probably unaware you can wipe that search history to save you from a future embarrassing moment.
Here’s how to view your search history:
Step 1: Go to your profile and click Activity log in the upper right corner
Step 2: Scroll down the Left Hand Side and click “More”
Step 3: Scroll Down the Expanded List and click “Search”
Step 4: You can now view your Facebook search history, in date order. To get rid of it, click “Clear Searches…”
After that, you are all set and your search history is gone!
